"I have been Orkin's client for many years in two states and want to share my negative experience with Orkin in Cincinnati in the last two weeks. Johnny (inspector and salesman) inspected our home, including the attic, and we signed the contract for insulation, guard placement, and exclusion. We were promised that Johnny would perform the quality of the work at the end. Work started as scheduled; however, it took much longer than expected due to the slow-blowing module and the need for more communication between the supervisors and the technicians regarding all three job steps. From the beginning, I made it clear to the technicians and Johnny how important proper and prompt communication was for me during this project. Technicians did their job well with what they had and collected the payment after the first part of the job. When I asked when the quality check would be performed and that two more steps needed to be done, I was told that it probably would be in the next few days. Three days later, when nobody showed up or called, I contacted Johnny and heard that he just returned from vacation and was trying to catch up. I also got a voice message from Kimberly at customer service asking how my experience was. I contacted the department and said how unsatisfied with the whole process of communication and coordination I was, after which she sent an email to management and supervisors. We got our guards done right before that. When I asked technicians about the exclusion part of the job, the technicians had no answer for me since they were unaware of that. I contacted Johhny again and also replied to the customer service email about my next steps with Google and Yelp reviews, as well as BBB if necessary. Within 15 minutes, I got a call from the service manager, who was unaware of our situation and was not even a part of the email thread from customer service. It was Friday, and she dispatched the team for the exclusion part on Saturday. Johnny said he was unaware that the job was still incomplete since he does not get notifications from technicians. On top of everything, part of our ceiling was damaged by a footprint during the first part of the work at the attic, which was not unexpected (see the photo). One of the supervisors came to our home and looked at it, hoping that it would not require removing the damaged part and replacing it with the new section. He just pushed it back to the top part and left without communicating his next steps for repairing it. At this point, all three steps of the contract are done on Saturday; however, today is the end of Monday, and no quality check was performed, and I am still waiting to hear back from anyone with it. I do not recommend contracting Orkin for this type of service since once they sell you this service, they just forget about your account unless you push them every step of the way, and that is not how it should be done."

"We had an issue this year with wasps and decided to use Orkin after multiple people getting stung and realizing that using store bought wasps spray just was not enough for the problem. They have been so helpful, the customer service is amazing, and I would recommend anyone to use this service."
