"I had to really think about what to rate this business because I actually have mixed feelings about it. I can tell you that I have never used their services and most likely never will. It only took one phone call to make this business decision. I was referred by a friend who has both his personal and business taxes prepared here. Since the tax season is quickly approaching I made a call to get a feel for the business culture (as a job/life coach and motivational speaker that is very important to me). It started out fine enough with a kind courteous greeting from the young lady who answers the phone. I could tell she had been through some type of customer service training from the start of my interaction with her. I could hear her smile as she answered what she must have thought was an endless list of questions. After she answered the questions she was able to answer she was very forthcoming and said I would need to speak to the office CPA for further assistance. She asked if it was ok if she placed me on hold for transfer to the CPA and transferred me without error. This is when things changed. If you don’t already know, Deb Maurer is the CPA here. When she answered she said her name like it was an internal call. For external transfers I would expect a greeting which includes a smile you can hear, her name (possibly job title), and “how will I help you today”? But I know that not everyone has been through my training so I try to remain objective. Well without providing too many details, I will say that I was so taken aback by the way she talked to me I reintroduced myself to make sure that she realized I was a potential client. That didn’t seem to do anything other than annoy her. While the business as a whole may provide a satisfactory level of service, I will not be allowing anyone who isn’t smart enough to treat potential clients with respect to prepare anything! 3 STARS for the initial customer service only. Zero STARS for Ms. Deb Maurer"
