"Service manager came in to help in a big way. I had realized the faulty repair of a shop in Columbus near their location and was towed here for a second opinion. Brandon made an effort to diagnose a faulty oil valve gasket installation promptly and sat with me to inform the shop who worked on my car the day before of the situation and got me back on the road the same day. Couldn't speak more highly of my experience here!"
"The service manager Jason Lawson became verbally abusive with me, calling me names and mocking me. I had brought in my new 2022 Civic because the inside rear view mirror fell off, the carpet is disintegrating, it has a coolant leak and a bad spot in the paint. He tore apart the interior rear view mirror housing. Then looked at the parts and said “at least nothing broke.” He left the mirror hanging by the wires then asked me to take the car to a third party body shop and find out how to fix it, or leave the car with no loaner or way back to work or home. He became irate when I tried to leave a list of concerns for the appointment I was trying to schedule. I opened a case with Honda Corporate and made an appointment at a different dealership. I will never set foot in a Mathews dealership again."
"Not what they used to be. Sold me tires 3 years ago. 6 year warranty. Dry rotted now and they won't do anything but sell me more tires. They charge top dollar for all their services except oil changes. I liked them better when Thurman Matthews was still with us. He was a great guy and I think he would disapprove of his company today."
