"Edit/Update: Your response says you called & left a message... funny, because I have NO missed calls, & you can't have left a message as you say because my voice-mail has been full for over a month. So i know that's a lie. Can't put an excuse on me & make it my fault. My ringer volume is turned up & I always return calls if I miss them. I received no calls other than from family from the time I booked till when my appointment was to happen. Scheduled to have them come out on a Monday afternoon. Was given a 5 hr window of when they would show up, sometime between 12pm-5pm. Stayed home all day, watched the camera to make sure they weren't missed, moved our furniture to have the area ready, & they didn't show up & didn't call."
"We have had Stanley Steemer clean our carpets for 40 years. They always had a special at a fair price and did a good job. The latest work by them however was very dissapointing. They rushed the job and missed several areas. They did not move funiture (chairs, sofa, tables) which they always did in the past. They did not remove some areas and spots that we took care of with spray carpet cleaner after they were gone. Upon calling the office the next day we were told "sorry" and they did not offer to come back to look at the problem areas, nor did they offer a partial refund. The cost for the work was twice the price as in the past. We can say without reservation that Stanley Steemer's work and customer service has gone downhill. I will not use their service again nor will I recommed their service to anyone."
"I hired Stanley Steamer to clean carpets at an office I work at in Springfield Ohio. First, I asked for a basic cleaning of a lobby area. That’s it. At the end of the service I was given the statement, which to my surprise was $1,300. FOR ONE ROOM. Second, I called the Stanley Steamer office to request a refund or credit as the “owner” argued with me stating I requested multiple add ons to the cleaning. I explained to that person I did not request any additional services and that she could communicate with the laborers. The “owner” stated she would return my call. I never did receive any further correspondence to my concern. The laborers were great. Lastly, Their customer service and communication skills are awful. I do not recommend. $1300 for a carpet cleaning in ONE ROOM is basically robbery."
