"Took my car to Parney's Car Care for an oil change and service work. After doing what I had requested the mechanic, Curtis, came out and asked me a few questions about whether I had noticed anything different with the vehicle. I was stumped. He could tell I wasn't getting the question. He asked me if I had noticed a specific way the car was handling I had no idea what he told me was a problem but I had noticed it. He had found a completely unrelated problem that I had no idea could cause a safety issue. As soon as he told me and I knew what he was describing was a problem it was not something to ignore. Had to get a second ride to pick up my car after it was fully repaired."

"I've been a loyal customer for years, with multiple vehicles. Up until the new owners apparently. Now it's just like any of the big name corporate jobs: sneaking in extra costs and doing extra things that weren't discussed or approved. We were quoted $70-90 for an oil change, but in the end I paid over $110. That wasn't even premium oil. And it included the extra fees for "miscellaneous fluids" that we didn't even talk about, so I have no idea what he put in or if he even did. Being shiesty or greedy isn't a way to run a business. From now on I'll go to Jackson to get these things done. I'll be able to get lunch and an oil change for less than what I paid. You've lost this family of customers"
