"While temporarily working at Cedarville University, (over an hr away from my home) I encountered a less than favorable day for my asthma. After hours of suffering thru my work day I turned to Cedarville Hometown Pharmacy desperate for relief by way of an inhaler prescription I had. One of the pharmacists employees, Stephanie, went above and beyond her expected job duties by seeing to it that I was able to use my inhaler immediately while they completed my order. As if that wasn’t enough already, Stephanie brought a positive down-to-earth vibe to the hometown pharmacy and hopefully is recognized for being “the breath of fresh air” our world needs so much more of! "Staff is great. The issue we consistently have is them not carrying various rx and, sometimes, us finding out after we arrive. They wanted us to take a tablet version of a medication for our 1 year old because they didn't have the liquid. My doc called in an antibiotic - it'll be in tomorrow. My regular med I take monthly ALWAYS has to be ordered. They also don't take GoodRX (which brings my regular monthly med from $650 down to $48 at Walmart). I just left Cedarcare and paid full price (insurance deductible not Cedar Care's fault) for an antibiotic. $15.98. Curiosity struck me and I checked GoodRX. $5 at Meijer. $12 at Walmart. Those differences can add up. As much as I want to support the small town business feel its really hard when stock seems to perpetually be low and costs are higher. It's easier when something is taken regularly and can be ordered ahead of time but when that's not the case it yet can get frustrating. I sold a Medicare Prescription Drug plan to a local who was frustrated by his new rx co-pays. He had previously had the CU health insurance plan. Come to find out the issue was Cedarcare. Everywhere else he went was infinitely more reasonable. In his words, "They just don't play very well with plans that aren't the University's insurance.""

"I recently had both vaccinations at CCVP. There seemed to be a snafu with me being on the waiting list, however, the team quickly took care of this and had me an appointment within 48 hours. My appointment was scheduled for the next interval and it went like clock work. The care, attention, organization, and professionalism is front and center. Also speaking with those who were not actually involved in the vaccination occurred and allowed me to feel both welcome and cared for. Thank you for all you do ... to the entire team at CCVP."

"I had concerns about an employee wearing what looked like a mesh mask during my covid vaccine and posted a poor review. Cedar Care called me and the employee personally explained how he was indeed wearing a science backed filter in his mask. He was kind, professional and seemed to actually care about my experience. I will be pleased to utilize Cedar Care in the future."

I remember when it was the old hardware store--the updated look of the pharmacy is great!
