"Is this place ever open? At least the last 5 times I have come here they were closed during normal posted business hours. It's a good barbershop...when they are open!"

"Have you ever just wanted a REGULAR men's hair cut? My barber graduated to glory. That means I had to find a new barber. All I get is a regular men's hair cut. I must have been to 10 places. The chain hair cut places have people that ask "What number cliper do you use?" Seriously? That's same as having your auto mechanic ask "What size wrench do they use to put on brakes?" Look if you don't know what to do before cutting my hair don't asked me. When I went into Walden's I instantly felt like I was back in my home town. It was a regular home style Barber shop. I discovered the locals call the place Tony's. Tony and Theresa own the place. When I asked for a regular men's hair cut that's what I got. No having to explain in detail what I wanted. I like Tony's (Walden's) so much that now if I need a haircut while out of town I feel like I'm cheating on them. Now tell me where else are you going to find a barber shop that make you feel like that? Huh? Huh? You won't. Remember Dorothy? There's no place like home, there's no place like home? Well... There's no place like Tony's hat off to Tony and Theresa."

"Started coming here a few months ago at the recommendation of my son. I have been pleased with all of my cuts since then which was not always the case before. It does get busy and doesn't take appointments but you can call to see what the current wait is."

"My boyfriend came in recently with long, thick 20 inch hair. He’s been growing it out for a few years and wanted to just have a trim and styled out of his face (Picture Bradley Cooper in ‘The Hangover’) Whoever cut his hair butchered it. They cut the back WAY too short and left the front long, looks like you can now style a bowl cut on him, and didn’t even dry his hair, brush it, or anything! Absolutely the worst haircut i’ve seen on a guy, not an exaggeration. Think twice before showing a pictured reference because they probably will not get it right or ask if you like it in between."

"First time there and they had a few people waiting. The regulars seemed to be happy and were treated well, I however felt like I was walking into a private club where they hardly spoke to me and they weren’t too happy I was there. The haircut was ok, the price was good but they just didn’t seem too friendly and acted annoyed that someone new was there!"
