"Gregg was very rude to me. I asked him politely where the spaghetti squash might be and he told me "it might be smart to look in the vegetable section" I was with my newborn baby and my 3 year old. All I wanted was just for him to locate it for me as I'm from out of town. Idk if he's the manager or just a worker but he should not have a job at Marc's"

"Sadly, this store has been on a downward spiral since Covid. Prices at register often do not reflect shelf price, always in their favor (didn’t Dollar General have to close their stores because of this?) They are frequently out of basic produce like celery, blueberries, cucumbers. I’ve had multiple instances of being overcharged, such as buying one avocado and being charged for 11. Another time, their scale was so off, I was charged $42 for a few pears. The new self service checkout is a joke. No room to put your own bags and even if you are just buying a few things, you are forced to use a credit card for $4 transaction. It’s just not worth it anymore."

"If you are not familiar with the Marc's chain they are a value grocery store with prices significantly lower than other area stores (with a possible exception of Aldi). One of the main attractions is a rotating Closeouts section with unique items and excellent deals (we've gotten great prices on a Shark robot vacuum, light bulbs, air conditioners, fans, toys, and more). I have been frequenting this location weekly since it opened. I have read some of the reviews regarding poor cleanliness and unhelpful staff. I don't dispute that this is possible, but I believe it to be the exception rather than the rule. I have never experienced either during my years visiting the store. I've always found the staff to be helpful, kind, and attentive to the store."

"They don't deserve one star. I've shopped here for years and spent thousands of dollars in good faith. When I returned a $7.00 item I purchased the day before because it was defective, they asked for my drivers license. They then scanned my license before returning my money. When I asked the Assistant Manager why they suddenly decided to keep a data base on their customers when returning an item, he responded because some of our customers are no good. So it is now Marx's policy to treat ALL their customers like criminals and keep their personal information in a data base. Very Communist. I will never shop at a Marx again!!!"
