"The cashier needed me to spell "endive" because she didn't know what it was and then she proceeded to make subtle homophobic remarks to me and my partner. Literally was just trying to buy lettuce."
"Wish the lines were faster and stock was better. Don’t stop here for something quick. You’ll be here for at least 30 minutes waiting in line. Self checkout is just as worse. Most of the cashiers don’t move with urgency either."
"If I could choose a no star I would! I picked up curbside groceries and the lady who brings the groceries answered the phone and was rude she then put the manager on the phone and he was just as rude as her!!! They couldn’t even answer a simple question!! And the manager hung up on me!!’ Very very rude!!!"
"I have never been a big fan of Giant Eagle, but this one is not bad. It is less cavernous and overwhelming compared to other Giant Eagle stores. Great beer selection. I like the people who work here because they are friendly and make the store feel comfortable. A few weeks ago I came in early to get ingredients to make waffles, and the man who was bagging pointed out the rising sun. That made my day."
"No donuts on a Saturday, definitely disappointing. The service at the self checkouts sucks too. The short lady that's been there forever selectively helps people she likes. It's time for Giant Eagle to move to a different market, this store is falling short of GE standards."
