"Well, this is still one of the older, smaller, UDF locations around, the staff has improved by leaps and balance in the few years that I’ve lived in this neighborhood. The old manager was terrible, but here recently have been a vast improvement it’s a shame that the company does not see it more resources to this location/neighborhood, just because it is a lower income area.."
"I just went to this store with my granddaughter who is 7 years old l. It is literally 6 pm. Everyone was getting ice cream and when it was our turn the girl behind the counter said she couldn't get ice cream because she has to defrost the freezer! Are you kidding me. That was disgusting behavior! I will never go here again. We just drove to the one on Winton Ave and that's where we will continue to go! Shame on her for turning us away!"
"This is the worst United Dairy Farmers location!!! Although it's the UDF store closest to my house, for the past 3 years, (since moving to this part of town), whenever I bother to come to this store for ice cream I'm always left disappointed. It's as if the General Manager personally hates the flavor mint because they NEVER stock the Homemade brand Mint Chocolate Chip, Homemade brand Mint Cookies 'N Cream, or Main Avenue Creamery Sweet Mint Chocolate Chip ice cream varieties. But they always manage to have an overabundance of less popular flavors. Even the sales associate have said that customers constantly ask for the mint flavors, but for some unknown reason they simply don't carry them. And it's sad because I would regularly come here for not only ice cream, but gas and other items if they actually stocked mint ice cream flavors like other UDF locations. But I choose to spend my money elsewhere so as not to be regularly disappointed. And to make matters worse, the nearby Walgreens and Kroger don't carry the brands and flavors, (respectfully), so I literally have to drive to a completely different part of town just to get the kind of ice cream I want which should be carried by it's maker, United Dairy Farmers!!!"
"This store got 2 stars because there are one or two employees who don’t act like they hate everyone. Their money order machine is broken more than the McY D’S ice cream machine."
"I always get fast, reliable service here. Most all the employees are friendly and happy to talk and help. It's always clean and taken care of. The gas pumps and parking lot are clean also, even when busy."
