"Love this store friendly staff and when we were in a pinch the deli manager arranged two wonderful catering meals for two family gatherings. Maybe a little more expensive but if you like really good customer service this is a great grocery & deli option."

"I love supporting small businesses. It's especially important to do so in small communities. Keeps grocery shopping available locally. The store is always well stocked, neat and has friendly local community employees. Also, their deli is fantastic as well as the fresh daily salad bar and pastries."

"I went to the Dillonvale IGA because it's hurting for customers. I was checking out with a couple items, and the cashier said a card had a charge. I said that's high, so we talked and a girl that worked there came to the bagging part half way through our talking and said with a attitude "is there a problem" I said no him and I was just talking. With another attitude she said "oh it sounded like it". Well she kept the attitude. I tried to shop there. Gotta love those that assume."

"I've lived in Deer Park for 36 years, and it's easier for me to do my grocery shopping at IGA since it is only 2 blocks away from where I live. When I first moved here back in 1987 , I met the owners then, and loved everything about IGA. Have always been treated great. I have always been a big shopper since we have a big family and always having people over . So I spend lots of money there . They always have new employs ever once a while and they have high school kids work after school and summer. Up till this new staff , 2years ago ? don't know any their names since they are not very friendly and apparently doesn't like to pack groceries. ,,so I pack my grocies most the time and generally take my own two carts of groceries to my car with no one offering help except people on the out side. I over heard the manager making a funny remark about my buying the store , so now the cashiers stare at my cart and make all kinds of faces , one runs outside to bring in carts and the manager keeps hisself busy . When customers see the manager and the employees acting in this way , I have most the customers giving me looks because some in line don't have a cart since they only have a couple items. I always ask those to go ahead of me , but this day was so humiliating, I felt as if I was imposing. I spent 482.00 that day . I never complain ,generally let things go , but this was embarrassing, for too long to the point I felt myself crying . I asked the cashier if their was something wrong since she was staring at me . The whole deal was terrible ..... no one asked if I needed out since I had two carts and I packed very one of my groceries. I really hope this goes to the owner of IGA, because the manager I don't think cares , since this pretty much has been like this the past 2 years. I just never said anything until now ... bad day , hey I'm 73 years old . From now on I will go the extra mile to krogers."
