"I came for the Art at the Commons art Festival. I have lived in the area my entire life, and this us the first time I have visited Lincoln Park. A lot depended on the weather, but I was impressed with the park, the event, and the people. There is lots of good shade and the park is clean, open, and easy to navigate. The landscaping is well cared for, the flower beds were tasteful and pretty without being ostentatious or overly showy. The paving stone walkways were even and clear of litter. The event itself was also excellent. A wide variety of local artists and a few from across the US had examples of their work. From painting and photography to ceramics and sculpture to jewelry and woodwork; mixed media, stone, glass, wood, paper, clay, and metal, all high quality, beautiful, and meaningful. I did purchase a few pieces, but I collected more business cards and names to add to my list of Etsy favorites. Overall, a relaxing, edifying, inexpensive, and peaceful way to enjoy an afternoon supporting individual artists and enjoying local culture, outside in a beautiful setting."

"A very nice small park. It is also called Lincoln Park and contains the Fraze. It hosts a large number of summer events and shows."

"This is a beautiful place with hiking/paved trails that connects the Fraze to the pond area. Hope to upload some better pics in spring. You can fish at the pond, watch the ducks with their babies, or go walk under the trees. There's even sculpture art here. It's not an extensive park, so don't expect a nature reserve, but for a city park, it's a nice retreat."
