"Great lake for bass fishing"
"They have done a lot of work here with obvious improvements including a paved trail between the two lakes and a put in a new bridge since my last visit. You can fish from the shore or off the two floating docks. There is a small boat ramp for public use. (Trolling only) I've personally never caught anything too exciting to brag about but enjoy the atmosphere every time. Just a nice place to visit."
"The not so big- but just big enough park to satisfy your fishing fantasy. With an entrance on either half of the lake, and a bridge between these sides it doesn't really matter where you park to get the best spots. A variety of edible mushrooms(as well as even more non-edible!!) Are available around the park for the experienced forager to grab! The views you can take in from the sunrise or sunset is quite nice, on top of it being open 24/7. All around it's a great park for a plethora of outdoor activities."
"Not the cleanest lake I've ever went kayaking. With that being said, it's a nice quiet place to get away."
"Very nice place to go fishing at or to come and enjoy a nice peaceful place around the lake. We caught catfish, bigmouth bass, and blue gill so far. Few years back we also witnessed a juvenile Eagle take flight. Do come prepared with bug repellent for towards evening, other than that the people I have ever come across there have been very friendly as well. My son and Iove it."
