"Long beach but not as wide as I remember. Still a nice beach. The beach area is well maintained and has a shelter house, playground and plenty of parking."

"One of my favorite places around for recreating, my husband, fog and I always come here for kayaking, paddleboarding, and playing in the water. The beach is perfect for launching off small watercrafts or relaxing and park does a great job of keeping it clean from parties and tills the sand into a nice pattern. If you go before 9:30 am, even on a weekend, you're guaranteed to have the beach to yourself. We went this morning for the Fourth of July to play in the water and we had the place to ourselves. Otherwise, it gets crowded fast but is still fun. The lake is also big enough that as a paddleboarder or kayaker you can keep your distance from the big boats and there is plenty of shoreline to follow."

"One of my favorite places to go, especially early summer mornings, before the boats come out. I paddle board as often as possible, and there are so many places to explore once on the water. I also like taking my dog for walks during fall and winter as there aren't many people around. She is 15 years old, blind and deaf so it's nice to be able to allow her to roam. It's just an overall relaxing place to go."

"Haven't been in a few years and good to see it hasn't changed at all. Sparsely populated as I figured it would be on a Tuesday, which was perfect. There were a few groups but spaced far enough apart for it to still feel private. It's regularly policed and rules are enforced, which we witnessed today. Floaties are not allowed (the kind you sit on) as they are apparently a drowning hazard. There's a little park for kids to play, a roofed picnic area and bathrooms available. The only downside is there is no shade unless you bring something with you."

"Good place to relax especially good for parents. Kids really like beach here. You only need to sit relax and watch them play. Or they can play running on grass, or play a slide or swing on the play ground."
