"This was a cute little park. Out and back trail which is relatively short but pretty. It leads down to the river and a rentable campsite. Part of the trail is gravel part natural. It was quite the day we visited not allot of people there."

"Beautiful trail! A bit muddy this time of year so take extra care. But still so pretty and peaceful!"

"Good hike. Saw 1 eagles nest, 5 eagles, 2 Swans , 2 beaver dams , half a dozen black ducked and Virginia bluebells. Very secluded doesn't look like it gets many visitors. Some very extensive beaver dams down along the river."

"I reserved the campsite here in the fall, and we hiked in. I thought about canoeing, but the logistics were very complicated to do this for such a short trip. The hike can be completed easily within a half hour. This is a great campsite if you are testing out your backpacking/ canoeing gear for a longer trip, or also if you just need a quick secluded getaway when other campgrounds are packed with RVs. There is a sign you can flip when you are occupying the campsite to tell day hikers not to bother you, but in the fall there weren't many to worry about. One thing to be aware of: i went in the fall and there were a lot of falling/ dead trees, so be aware of that. I actually saw a tree fall about a hundred yards from the campsite."
