"The sand is more like stones and its over crowded for always freezing water and they have it roped off so you can't swim very much and its so packed you really can't swim anyways. The ohio road trips page on FB is not true when they all say you should come here. Its a waste of a drive."
"Yup, it was a bit crowded. On a beautiful, but hot Saturday in July, what else would you expect? The beach was in good shape and folks were friendly. The water was the clearest I've ever seen in Ohio. In addition to swimming, you can snorkle and SCUBA, canoe and kayak. I saw some good looking picnic areas. We really enjoyed it.p"
"Very disappointed in this place...the swimming area and beach are not that big. It was way over crowded. You are literally neck to neck with people on the beach and in the water. Alot of trouble finding a parking spot. ALL the lifeguards seemed like they hated their jobs. And you cannot take anything at all in the water with you. So if you like to just stand in the water with people all around you then this is your place."
