"This is a public area that has a beach,playground, volleyball, shelter house, restrooms and a large parking area. The island is open during the construction that's going on. It also has great views of the lake."
"New playground is awesome, but beach has a ton of gross algae and isn’t swimmable sadly. Also no bathrooms right now (they’re building new ones) so there’s just port-a-johns."
"Great place to take the kids and relax! The beach area is very well maintained. The sand was clean and raked. The beach itself did not have and shade, but there is plenty of shade not too far away. There is a shelter house available with a sand volleyball court. Picnic tables are located throughout the park as well as grills. For boaters, there are docks available. The playground was recently updated and it is amazing! It is an inclusive playground for all abilities. My son had a great time climbing all over it and plsying on the spinning toys. My wife even gave the spinning toys a try! Even if you just want to stop and relax, a bench is available with a great view!"
"Small, quite, not much shade. We plan to sit in the sun when we visit. But the beach is beautiful,neat and secluded"
