The park entrance is accessible by hiking from Farnsworth or Providence on the Towpath Trail, offering a scenic journey to reach the historic Bend View shelter. The Towpath Trail, part of the Buckeye Trail, follows the Miami and Erie Canal, providing an 8-mile connection between Providence, Bend View, and Farnsworth Metroparks. Additionally, the new Otsego Road Enclosed Platforms, Liberty and Freedom, offer elevated scenic views of the Maumee River for a unique camping experience.
