"This is truly incredible and I wish all water ways had them! The kayak rental is right next to it. It is so easy to get in and out of the water! And there's a system for people in wheelchairs/mobility issues to get into the kayak/canoe."
"ADA accessible kayak launch. Great idea and location, but had some issues (mostly caused by other people). Launch is the closest one we could find to a parking lot. There is no regular dock here, and the handrail around the edge makes it difficult if you have a kayak that can't go in the handicap launch (ours has a fin on the bottom that would get stuck). Also, based on previous visits, your chances are 50/50 that the launch area will be inaccessible due to people blocking it with their lawn chairs while fishing/smoking pot. Kayaking the lake itself was fun. The water was smooth, obstacles easily avoided, and not many motor powered boats around this area. Just avoid the sides when passing the campsites unless you want a fishhook cast at you by aggressively territorial fisherman."
