"Wow. I’m still a little stunned from our experience here and a bit lost for words. My mom received a pair of Clark’s shoes as a Christmas gift. While she was browsing I went to ask if the store was able to process an exchange of an online purchase. Tevin, the associate working, said “it depends, I’d have to see the receipt to know.” So, I handed him the receipt to check and he proceeded with processing the full refund and putting the money back on the original purchaser’s card! Even though I specifically said we wanted to do an exchange and that I was just asking if it was even POSSIBLE. We looked at him a bit blankly when he told us that he had already processed the refund. I told him again that it was a gift and that we were just trying to exchange it. He said that that was too bad and that we were just out of luck. He tried to tell us that absolutely no online purchases could ever be exchanged even if we tried to do it online. That’s funny, because that is the exact opposite of what the Clark’s website says (it gives you the option to return OR exchange). Considering this is one of the biggest weeks for returns and exchanges for all retailers, it is just completely unbelievable that this was our experience. 0/10"
