"Great atmosphere! Love the employees at this barber shop. Appts are available when needed. Mike, Makenzie, and Gannon have done well with the men in our house! They offer full service shaves and haircuts. You can even order good bourbons or drinks while there if you like, along with a pool table to play while you wait for your people to be done with their service's!! Ladies can get their nails done at the nail parlor while they wait, too!"

I’ve been going to this shop since it opened and have had Mike cut my hair for far more years. The atmosphere in here is beyond any other barbershop, with the bar service and tv’s, full front window view of downtown Englewood and so much more. "My wife Robin called around a couple days ago looking for someone to shave her head. She is undergoing chemo treatments and it was coming out anyway. After being turned away from a couple other places that said they were booked, The Englewood Parlor fit her in even though they were booked. She was very happy with the friendliness and caring they showed her in a time that has been very hard for her. I truly appreciate your efforts in making it easier for her to cope with losing her hair."

"As for the hair cut Mike is pretty good when he takes his time. As of lately he seems rushed. His fade work is usually good, where he cut corners sometimes is on the scissor work leaving hair on top and the bangs a bit uneven with random individual hairs sticking up. The big issue with Mike is his business practices. He's pricing is not clearly defined which he admitted when I ask him about it. His policy changes from month to month without notice. He will over charge you if you have to cancel for any reason even illness. Mike cut mine and my sons hair every month for about five years. The one time I got ill I notified Mike first thing in the morning and had my wife take my son in for his hair cut so I wouldn't cancel both hair cuts. Mike proceed to charge my wife $60 for one child hair cut that took him 20 minutes. I normally pay $50 for both of our hair cuts so that's $10 more for only one hair cut. Plus I always gave a $10 tip and have never missed a hair cut in five years. When I approached Mike about this he wouldn't budge and was very rude. He chose greed over doing the right thing. I will no longer do business with him and I suggest anyone reading this to pass on The Englewood Parlor and choose one of the many other barbers in this area."
