"Before I decided to write this review, I read all the other reviews. Most of the reviews are from years ago. I think the salon has changed in the recent year. I’ve been to the salon about six times and each time there was some issue. I kept going back, hoping that it would improve And giving them second and third chances. I had my hair colored there on a few occasions and only once did the color turn out right. I had my haircut there on three occasions, and only once was the cut right. I just kept hoping that I would get a good cut again, but I never did. The flat ironing was terrible . The flat iron she used was not a new one. It seem to be an old Chi which did not work properly. I felt the atmosphere was slightly negative. The owner saw me on several occasions as someone else’s client and she never spoke to me. One night she even checked me out, rang up my Service and she was very standoffish. I decided then that would be the last time I would go to the salon so I’m giving them a three because I don’t want to be too hard because I think there are good people there that try but you can get better service and customer friendliness at some other shops in the area."

"Cannot express how happy I was with this salon!!! A couple weeks before my wedding, I called Affinity, got some pricing, and set up a trial run for hair and makeup for myself and hair for my little sister (our flower girl). My mom came with us and when we got there Megan, the hair stylist, started working on my sister while the makeup girl got started with me. Both were very professional, extremely friendly, and made the day enjoyable! My mom ended up asking Megan to put her down as getting her hair done the day of the wedding as well because she was so impressed. A few days before the wedding, my mom decided she would do her hair herself to try and save some money. However, the day of the wedding we were running late. I called Megan on my way with my sister in the car and asked her if they could still squeeze my mom in. Megan was more than accommodating and happy to help her out! After Megan started on my sister and I, our mom showed up and realized she forgot her makeup at home (she was going to do it while waiting for her hair). Before any more worrying could arise, Megan and the makeup artist quickly stepped in and allowed her to use their makeup to get ready! By the time we all got done, we were gorgeous and felt like a million bucks! I would 100% recommend Affinity salon to anyone!"
