"Skilled nursing facility was under staffed, dirty and terrible care. Nurses were only pill pushers and provided no extra care. The staff on Mac o Chee Hall and administrators failed to provide my mother with basic care."
"It's a really great place for the elderly to go and live that could still live by themselves. There's a track that goes around the whole entire area so they can get out and walk there's a nice scenic view of woods all around them and there's even a Dollar general across the street in case they need anything for their house. They're really nice on the inside also!!"
"The food is poor quality. They could easily serve nutritional meals and maintain a budget. Someone makes a lot of money, but it’s not the staff who work the floors. My mother is not to be walking on her own (fall hazard), but she has already been to and from the bathroom before anyone responds. Fortunately, I was there to pay attention. Light on for 1/2 hour. I have seen this twice, where a new patient has been admitted and the nurse that would be doing the admission was not notified. Once, I informed the aide at the nurses station that Mom had a new roommate. The “new layout” for rooms that the aides take care of does not make sense for the patients. The aides who are to help Mom come from a farther hall and is different than the nurse who has mom’s room. Most of the staff who work the floor try their best, the blame lies with top administrators who make decisions not understanding the workings of the floor."
