"I arrived to apply for Medicaid, as I am scraping by just to get one of two types of insulin that I need to stay alive, and the lady who was supposedly supposed to help me handed me the Medicaid app. I filled it out and had some questions, to which she might have spent a maximum of 3-4 minutes explaining before getting me out of the door like I was interrupting her. I got denied, for being paid too much, which is ridiculous considering my insulin payments (which are out of pocket due to terrible insurance benefits at my job) drain more than half of my paychecks. All in all, terrible, and I'm now worrying everyday about running of out insulin and suffering from a DKA."
