"I loved the atmosphere of this place, but the beef brisket stroganoff was EXTREMELY salty. I would have sent it back but the server took a while to come back and then after she did it seemed like too much time had passed. I don't know if I'd give this place another shot but I wish I had gone with the Caesar salad."

"We were celebrating our upcoming wedding. Sydney was our delightful server for the evening. We had the Warm Brie for an appetizer, my nearly hubby had the pork chops, I had the sirloin - both were juicy. Nice atmosphere."

"Such a great spot! Delicious food and drinks, with indoor as well as outdoor seating available. Very professional service and presentation. The Brussel sprout appetizer was amazing! Highly recommend if you’re in the area, reservations are probably a good idea at busy times!"

"It's called a tavern so you expect tavern food which is what you get, but then you see the prices and you expect the menu all to be elevated, which they do sometimes. The walleye was well cooked, but underseasoned, the burger was clearly high quality ingredients, but the dressing on the arugula kinda took over, and I'm no expert on lemoncello, but it seemed far too sweet to me. The highlights were the crab cake, the garlic sea salt fries which weren't over garlic-ed for once and the fantastic corn risotto that came with the fish. So the appetizer and sides were the best thing we got. I may have had too high expectations, but felt a little let down since everything looked and sounded like it would be amazing. It could be because the clientele they cater to appears to be a well-off retired community (nothing wrong with that, but it might explain the lack of seasoning and sear). I will try it again, though, because they had a really interesting menu, both food and cocktails."

"The food was very tasty and arrived all at once, and for our table that was no small feat. In spite of the restaurant not being very busy, our server was not very attentive. With 22% tip, our check was just over $300 for 6 adults and 2 children. There were not many tables for the number of servers so not sure what the reason was for the service. However, the food and environment was very enjoyable so we will most certainly be back."
