"This review is based solely upon myself and my wife's experience in attaining our CCW certification through Clelands. I've read other reviews where people rip them to shreds over bows, guns, attitudes, and general experience. I can't attest to any of that. I can only say that our personal experience was excellent. I wasn't sure what to expect but our instructor (Chad Cleland) was extremely professional and knowledgeable. I would highly recommend Clelands to anyone that's interested in obtaining their CCW certification."

"I am writing this review for my brother who went there before Chrismas and bought $1800.00 worth of product. 1 thing he bought was a bow for his girlfriend that was not interested in learning how to shoot. He went back to the store to return it and the owner , Ken would not take the bow back. He said there was a tiny nic on a piece that was probably there when he bought it. But he refused to take it back even though it was $800. My brother got upset and the owner threatened to call the cops if he didn't leave the store. He did leave. Fast forward a couple of weeks later I go with him to try and take it back and to return some of the other things he bought. The other things were returned with no problem by the employee that waited on us. He was very nice and helpful. A week later I went back with my brother to return the bow. When we both walked in the store 3 employees looked and just stared at us. I finally asked if 1 of them was going to help us or were they just going to stand there. The woman whom I'm assuming is a manager right away said they would not take the bow back. When asked why there was no reason given. I was shown a sign that said returns of merchandise is at the discretion of the store. So pretty much they just didn't want to lose the sale. We returned the rest of the items he bought there since we won't do any business with people who are rude, dishonest and treat you like you are scum. Lots of bad reviews about this place and there's reasons why. Find somewhere else to shop."

"First time firearm purchase in Ohio since I moved here. Process was very pleasant. Guns all shapes and sizes from small to large calibers. John was knowledgeable and non judgemental showing me the ins and outs of what we were purchasing. I am very happy and eager to come back soon and test out the range. Thanks again !!"

"Only shoot at the range if you're an NRA instructor. Because God forbid if you show your son a better way of holding their gun or a better stance. All they want you to do is send lead down the range and shut up."

"We initially went here to get info about their gun range and protocol. The gentleman we spoke with was very helpful (think his name was Gary...unsure) and invited my wife and I to shoot. He offered some helpful pointers to my wife which made her relax. This improved her marksmanship and gun handling. All in all, Cleland's is an excellent place to shoot. Personnel are informative and knowledgeable. Highly recommended."
