"It is a wonderful place."
"I go here daily because of the convenience. Ceiling tiles are missing and if it’s raining, buckets are sitting all over the place to catch the rain. A lot of the gym equipment is dilapidated and broken and pool is rarely open when it’s supposed to be. It’s disappointing seeing this place disintegrate rather than the city selling it to the YMCA. Rittman could use that money to repair the rest of the roads. It seems someone had their ego involved and doesn’t want to let go of it."
"My favorite rec center. It's not even the recreation center in my town but I go here because of the staff. They are a delightful group who offer help and insight to my workouts. New workout equipment will be arriving soon and will only amplify the workout room even more. There is a wide variety of equipment that any person could enjoy their workout regardless of the stage in their training. The staff is very willing to jump in and offer direction in form for the safety of their guests. We also love the pool for those days in which the kids want to play around or on days that we want to take lap after lap. Great small town rec center with that family feel."
"This place is a disappointment to say the least! I wanted to get a large contingent of people to come out and play volleyball. This revenue would help support the money that the city of Rittman pays to keep this facility running. One of the representatives present told me that they probably could not set up the volleyball net because it would take up half of the gym, but in my experience that is generally typical for a normal size gym so I’m not sure what point he was trying to make other than they didn’t want extra revenue for this facility. I told him to talk with his boss and get back with me, to date I have still been waiting. If this was a privately run business it would not be in business I would have to imagine. In my opinion management needs to step up and take responsibility in meeting the customers needs."
"We had our end of Season football banquet here. It was a great space, additional tables were provided. The kids had so much fun swimming as well."
