Carlisle Reservation is the largest of the Lorain County Metro Parks, covering 1,917 acres of beautiful land in LaGrange, Ohio. This park offers a wide range of activities and events throughout the year, making it a popular tourist attraction. "Great county park but we were laughing as we drove through the holiday lights display. I don't think that was the reaction they intended. Imagine a street where each house was allocated only 2 strands of lights to decorate. That would still be more interesting than the park display."
"Christmas lighting display. 5pm - 9pm. Walking through Monday to Saturday. Train on Sunday. Lodge is open, Hot chocolate 50c, cookies, candy. Restrooms. Very cute display. Warm lodge with fireplace."
"Was there for the Halloween festival they had. It was amazing. The ticket cost was minimal and what they offered to accommodate all age groups was FANTASTIC!!! The decorations on the trail were amazing!!! Well done Carlisle! Can't wait for Christmas season and then Halloween next year."
