"This is an okay preserve. Not much to see right now. I took the perimeter loop which has almost NO shade so be aware of that when hiking in the summer. There are plenty of inner trails but I wasn’t able to hike them. There are plenty of birds, a cool edible garden, pond and a nice shaded garden that looks freshly built. Will come back in the summer to see the summer wildflowers Nature Preserve Park Hiking Trails"
"Took my older two children here for the first time. It is really nice. Great kids area and wonderful trails all over. I was browsing for mushrooms and the kiddos just had a fun time."
"I wish we would have taken more photos! This place was a perfect stop along a road trip for us to get out and RUN. The naturescape is amazing and the kids enjoyed exploring all over the woods as the play areas are spread out. There's also a nice little trail to hike on with an excellent picnic area with gazebo."
"In town for work and wanted to hike, so checked this place out. WOW! It stormed earlier in the day so maybe that was it, but we had the place to ourselves! Saw so many cool mushrooms, beautiful flowers, watched/listen to indigo buntings sing, and can't wait to come back. Saw some really cute areas for kiddos as well, what a gem! Was really well taken care of, can tell that land management practices are in effect there, signage was on point. Great place!"
