"I love walking here. We live close now but it’s very easy to get to as long as you know where it is. A little oasis of quiet. You’re likely to come upon deer, possum, foxes, and be mindful we’ve seen skunks too. Also always, always check yourself for ticks. There are Bathrooms in Menke Park but they aren’t always open and there is a porta potty not far from the parking lot that is always open. There are picnic tables near the parking lot and a small shelter. There is a larger shelter in Menke Park with even more picnic tables. Dogs are allowed on leash but you should always clean up after your pet."
"Love taking my pup for walks here. She is leary of other humans and dogs, but this place gives us tons of room to walk and enjoy the outdoors without she or I worrying we will run across something that will scare her. And if we do, we are able to safely take a detour, and walk in another direction."
"Great urban park located in the heart of Troy, Ohio. A resident or visitor can easily access and enjoy this well-kept gem of a park. There are numerous sculptures located throughout the park that add to the scenery."
"The Hobart Preserve is so beautiful. I love walking there. So much nature. The deer are out and about depending on the time of year. Great place for taking photos. ♡"
"The family and I always have a blast here. There's so many deer and rabbits and you can normally get pretty close to them before they start walking away from you. My kids had never seen deer this close before now and they loved it. There are also several pokestops and 4 gyms at this location. 2 are on the actual trails so you get some distance on your egg hatching and buddy candies"
