About the Business

The International Peace Museum, located at 10 North Ludlow Street in Dayton, Ohio, is a museum and tourist attraction that was founded in 2004. The museum aims to raise awareness of nonviolent strategies for achieving peace, both now and in the future. It pays homage to the 1995 Dayton Peace Accords that brought an end to the war in Bosnia. The institution was founded by J. Frederick Arment, Ralph and Christine Dull, Steve Fryburg, and Lisa Wolters.
The museum is currently organizing a special program for January 2024 to April 2024, so visitors are encouraged to stay updated with the latest news. The museum highlights how nationalism and xenophobia played a role in the brutal war in Bosnia-Herzegovina, and encourages visitors to advocate for a world that embraces diversity and difference.
As a gathering place for all, the International Peace Museum offers programs that celebrate music, art, books, film, and new ideas. Reviews
"Went to a Birthday Party there! Excellent atmosphere! Recommend it beyond the 'cultural benefits!"
"Very interesting and informative displays. Does very good work with kids and educators. Rotating displays so there is always something new to see. Just wish it was bigger and open more than 2 days a week!"
"Nice atmosphere, kind staff. Interesting exhibits. The accompanied photo includes MLK relatives Gregory Foster and Joel King Jr. And Tushar Gandhi."
"Well worth the visit. Issues from years ago still am outside today. So not look for the old building. Now in the Courthouse Plaza SW. Look for the water fountain and you are there"
"Awesome place. The lady/guide who explained everything was very informative. Wide variety of exhibits, love the old mansion it's located in, and the best part were the phenomenal photos depicting so many emotions from event in Dayton and across the globe. Truely a great experience and a good way to spend a Sunday afternoon."
