"We finally made it out to the Avalon and had a really fun time. The interior is really beautiful and the theater is super cute. The seats are smaller with no cup holders, but that is to be expected at this kind of venue. The concession prices aren't crazy like at a regular movie theater either. I'm really glad this is in our community. Definitely worth checking out."

"I remember going to see movies here growing up in Marysville. I could not be more excited about the renovation and reopening of the Avalon! In the first few months it was open, I went to see several wonderful retro movies with my friends and family. I’ve also been to several lectures and live concerts. Every time, the Avalon staff and volunteers always go out of their way to make sure we have a great experience. I hope you will consider Coming out to one of their movie nights or live performances. You won’t be disappointed!"

"One of the "bad" non profits. Building maintence is a mess with mold and broken lights. The people who run it don't care about the arts or the community, just want a private "club" for them and their lackeys. Very disconnected from what the community needs. They also love to take advantage of those who are gulloble enough to volunteer time to them. I do not recommend going here. Many other local theatre venues and productions around that actually know what they are doing."

"I went to the Avalon yesterday to hear Dr. Don Thomas, a NASA astronaut, speak. His presentation was awesome and the theater is beautiful! They have clearly done a lot of work to make it look nice. I’m curious to see a play there to see how they manage with the small stage. The staff was out front in the lobby welcoming everyone. I also saw they partnered with a local restaurant to provide dinner and a movie. Fantastic local venue!"

"The Avalon theatre is a special place! Growing up In Marysville it was hard to accept that the movie theatre is no longer there but the idea of bringing back live performance, art, concerts, live music, shows, AND movies!!! We really needed this and it is beautifully designed like the 1930s inside. It gives our community a beautiful historic venue to watch events and to hold our own!"
