"They redid the castle. It’s very nice and no more graffiti. Neat to daydream about living here back in the day. Some nice trails behind the castle. Picnic area. Usually very busy. We came here on a weekday in bad weather. Loved it"

"Such a lovely place to go for a few trail and paved walks. Can bring a dog or have a picnic. With the snow as right now, the place feels a little bit magical. There is a water fountain, trails map, tables and chairs for picnics, and lots of parking. Cool place to stay for a while. And fun for photography enthusiasts too :) Completely free too"

"Neat castle with nice area for picnics and outdoor games. We enjoyed walking our pup and exploring the interior of the castle. We did wish that there were more signs detailing the history of the site. We had to research it online ourselves."

"This was an unexpected find on our visit to Cleveland. We were looking for places to go with our dogs and found this location. We were expecting to walk around the castle and have a short trail, but were very impressed by all the park had to offer. We could go right into the castle and imagine what it had looked like, then there were miles of hiking trails to explore. The paths were amazingly well marked so we were easily able to find our way back. I also really appreciated the distances on the trail markers so we could decide if we wanted to take shorter or longer routes. If we lived nearby I could see this park being a weekly visit - it was an amazing stop!"

"This place is great for a nice nature hike. We took our 10yr old dog on the scenic trail. It does have some difficult inclination but only in about 2 spots. Good for us and our dog, but she is used to daily walks. Gets very slippery after a rainfall, so wear proper shoes to not fall. With stopping twice to let our dog drink water and to take a few photos, the trail took about an hour. Recommend if you want a good workout that doesn't leave you feeling dead afterward. Majority of it is in shade, so you don't have to wear a hat or sunglasses if you don't want to... and cooler travels in the shade too. The trees have pictures of what trail you are on every so yards down with signs at every intersection so you won't get lost which made it helpful. They do have picnic tables and charcoal grills that I thought would be cute to use on a lunch picnic another day. I also saw doggy poop bags just in case you leave your bag at home!"
