About the Business
Akron Children's Hospital Gift Shop in Akron, Ohio, is a unique institution that offers a wide range of gifts, cards, electronics, personal care items, apparel, fresh flowers, and Akron Children's logo merchandise. Operated by the Akron Children’s Women’s Board, all proceeds from the shop are donated back to the hospital to support their mission of providing exceptional care to children.
In addition to the physical store at the Akron campus, there is also a gift shop at the Beeghly campus in Mahoning Valley, operated by Akron Children’s Volunteer Services. The shop also offers an online team shop for Akron Children's logo apparel and merchandise.
The gift shop is open Monday to Friday from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m., Saturday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. They offer a variety of items including snacks, greeting cards, balloons, toys, apparel, candy, stuffed animals, and gift cards.
If you are unable to visit the shop in person, you can call 330-543-8782 to speak with a personal shopper who can help you select the perfect gift and have it delivered to a patient room. The shop also carries baby clothing, blankets, pacifiers, books, candles, electronic chargers, lotions, newspapers, playing cards, puzzles, reading glasses, seasonal gifts, socks, toys, umbrellas, women’s clothing, and much more.
