"I never leave reviews but felt I should this time. I’d never been to 5below before and just went on Black Friday. I had a very pleasant experience all the way through excluding everything I heard come out of who I assume was the manager’s mouth. The store was obviously incredibly busy on Black Friday and the girls at the checkout clearly had spent the entire day non stop ringing up customers (It was nearly 5pm at this point). The young lady who helped me as well as the girl at the register next to her, despite how exhausted they probably were, helped me with a smile and were very pleasant. I was distracted from my pleasant interaction with your employee by your obnoxious manager who decided she needed to berate said employees in front of the entire store because they “weren’t saying welcome to 5below” every time someone walked in the door. I promise no one cares if they’re greeted every time they walk into a new store on Black Friday. I told them loud and clear for everyone in line to hear “I would have just quit my job if I were you”. By their reaction I could tell this treatment was a common occurrence (not just a tense Black Friday slip up). Regardless of if they did in fact make a mistake, it is unacceptable to correct an employee in that tone and in front of an entire line of customers. It made my stomach turn. I wouldn’t return to this location just to avoid her. Do with that information what you please. All 3 of my stars are for the lovely ladies who helped me out that day."
"Typical low budget mix merchandise store, atleast the shelves are orderly and a really good variety for very good prices. If your last minute shopping and don't have a budget or the last minute money this is the perfect place for you..."
