"Bacchus Lounge is great. Attached to Russo’s restaurant but with a different and more relaxed menu. Their drinks are so strong and delicious! We loved going there prior to Covid, and are patiently awaiting the reopening of this part of the business. Russo’s is open and we’ve gotten some incredible carry out from them, but I miss Bacchus. My gosh their pizza is homemade and some of the best I’ve ever had! When they have their Mardi Gras menu, I highly recommend!"

"We were very skeptical walking into Bacchus Lounge. We had seen a newspaper clipping from back in January 2019 boasting their gumbo and creole cuisine. However, upon walking in it looked like more of a bar. Very laid back, old looking tables. Nothing fancy. The restaurant in the front is more fine dining but that is not really our style. We were craving something like a bistro or brewery type of feel. Walked into what was more like a laid back bar & gril . Was very skeptical as the menu ranged from pizza to entrees like grilled pork chop with jambalaya. Needless to say, we were pleasantly surprised. The gumbo, grilled pork chop, jambalaya, and collard greens were fantastic. Great flavor that definitely does not match the subpar decor. Could use some renovations."

"The fresh oysters were delicious ... but the rest of the food was terrible... we had fried green tomatoes, quesadilla, and jambalaya croquettes... we told the waitress... she said sorry... but didn’t fix anything. We usually love this place.... no idea what was wrong tonight... seemed like OLD dirty oil in the fryer. So sad."

"I go to Russo's often for dinner. My boyfriend has more of a bland palette so we ate in the back (here) because of the menu difference. HORRIBLE. I have never had a negative comment to say about Russo's, but this place has spoiled my opinion. They charge the same for dinner plates served at Russo's but bring them in smaller portions and make you pay a la carte for salad & bread too where as in the front you don't. Service was also horrible, had to ask our server numerous times for the same things."
