"The absolute worst experience ever; do not recommend. Summary: No follow-up from the local sales representative to ensure smooth purchase process. The Customer Service and Scheduling teams are a nightmare. English is not their primary language and there are communication barriers; they follow a script and are useless. No way to escalate any issues. Macys as a whole does not care about the customer. If you want your life complicated by multiple delivery trips and trying for months, days, and hours to coordinate deliveries only to receive damaged items, this is the place to go. Details: I attempted to order furniture online from Macys website. When the transaction would not go through I contacted this Macys location over the phone for assistance. Sales rep was friendly and helped with my order. He assured me he was ordering the correct dresser and nightstands (note - you cannot correlate the web ID of the product to the SKU number on the sales check.) Expected delivery of all items was due before end of 2023. I never heard again any follow-up from this sales associate. Nightstands were dropped off in November and one was damaged. Macys had to return to pick up damaged nightstand and return with another nightstand—also damaged. Macys credited me for the damage. Dresser delivery got pushed until Jan 2024 (3+ months from order date.) After nightmare scheduling process, dresser finally delivered. The wrong dresser was ordered and it was damaged. Another scheduling nightmare to ensue; credit will only occur once the item is retrieved. I attempted to reach Macys customer service on Twitter; zero assistance at all. A horrific holistic problem with Macys furniture from the local store all the way through shipping and delivery."

"Status: Just Delivered This review is strictly about the sales and delivery team - not the durability of the furniture or any warranty/worry no more claims. We had an amazing experience purchasing this couch. It was so nice being able to go into the store and test out the couches - there are very very few showrooms like this anymore. I am not the type to risk making such a big purchase online based on reviews and some swatches. The sales team on-site were helpful and informative, but not pushy. We had a smaller than normal space to work with, and they showed us several options that would work. Ultimately we decided to go with a customizable sectional which made our delivery a little longer than we had hoped, but we understood why that was the case. There was a moment of panic where the delivery date was listed as being postponed, but it ended up coming on time. It seems like the sales people aren't really set up for success and there is a bit of miscommunication internally. With all that being said, our sales person, Peggy, was amazing and continued to keep us updated on the status of our couch. Delivery was quick and seamless. The gentlemen that delivered the couch were kind and professional. The white glover service was worth the additional fees - they unpackaged the couch and removed all shipping materials from the property. I will update the review if we have any issues, but as of right now I could not be happier about this purchase!"

"Macy's furniture store is awful and absolutely don't not recommend buying from them. The products do not wear well, the customer service is terrible, and good luck getting the warranty to cover anything on the product. We purchased one of their most recommended couches from them back in 2020. Within two years of the purchase the couch is extremely uncomfortable. Feathers are constantly coming out of the cushions and pillows. The wood supports creak loudly anytime someone gets up or down. There is almost no support to the cushions anymore because all the feathers and foam are coming out. It took a week for customer service to find our order because the sales team didn't enter it into the system correctly. Once found, we had to open a claim with the warranty group. After FOUR WEEKS they told us that this was "normal" wear and isn't covered. Save your money and go somewhere else."

"Lots of things should be bought online, like new cornhole synthetic sacks but furniture is not one of them. Sorry Wayfair. Macy's has a lot to consider and sales staff were informative without any pressure. Question is, "what is your price point relative to quality and durability?" for any piece of furniture. Answer that and you will love Macy's or shop elsewhere but either way, it is a roomy unhurried browsing experience."
