"Best place for cataract surgery.... Love the doctors and staff"

"Horrible treatment of disabled! My husband had cataract surgery twice there. The first time while in their “ surgery” center I was told to park my mobility scooter somewhere else and take a seat in the waiting room, because their furniture arrangement did not provide any place for me to sit without being in someone else’s way. I refused and told them I could move out of the way as needed but could not walk the distance they ask. Then later when my husband’s surgery was complete, the nurse came out to get me but upon seeing me sitting on my scooter said “ oh we don’t have room for you back there... you need to wait”. And wait I did until every other person there for surgery that morning was dismissed, then and only then did they take me back into the recovery area to see my husband! I was there a total of one minute before he was released. We came back the next week, and when my husband was taken back into the examine room, I followed him. upon entering it was appearent that the room was very small, it had two chairs for family members to sit but the nurse did not offer to move either of them... instead she made comments about how she needed to reach this machine and I was in her way. Now true is I was but if she would have either 1) moved the chairs for me or 2) moved out of my pathway so could have parked where she was standing. Neither one was done, instead she made it very clear that I needed to remove myself. Do not go there if you or your family member is disabled, they clearly don’t know how to be accommodating to the disabled!"
