"I am not sure why this place gets so many 5 star reviews. Are people in the area so hungry that they ignore taste? I have been here a couple of different times hoping to like it since it would be convenient for me. The food has been OK but mostly bland. If you are hungry and just want food then it is fine."
"I've been going to Hella's for 20 years. The owners are good people, and the food is always great. It hasn't changed at all over the years!! I've tried almost everything but always go back to the sausage breakfast sandwich. It's really good! The sausage is mild, lighter in color, and tastes different than normal breakfast sausage. I've heard some call it farm sausage? Not sure if that's accurate, but it's delicious regardless! The vegetables are so fresh that you can smell them when you open the sandwich box. Rare thing anymore! 10/10 for quality and freshness!"
"Always had a delicious meal and very friendly staff. Can be crowded on weekends, but great food is easy to wait for. I love crispy bacon and have never been disappointed at Hellas. Breakfast and lunch are all good."
"Great family style diner with a farmhouse vibe. Food is greasy and delicious, perfect diner taste and good prices. Staff is nice, but service was slow on a Friday morning at 9am. There are a few outdoor picnic benches for a quieter meal and conversation."
"A true and genuine American breakfast dining (restaurant). This one harks way, way back to when the staff greets you by your name, knows your order and is genuinely happy to serve you. Food??? LOVE the food, eggs, bacon, potatoes (oh my oh my). Now even though I am MOSTLY a breakfast guy their GYROS are top notch for sure. They have daily specials and never fail to surprise with something very delicious EVERY waitress, cook, chef, owner and people just hanging out are AMAZINGLY nice. Think that may be the special sauce Hella’s has to offer.....great food served with a side of kindness."
