"The Ash House is a breath of fresh air. Might be the best smelling shop in Akron, or anywhere for that matter. Amazing soaps, of course, but also candles, bath and body products, cleaning products, plants, vintage goods, and so much more! Things I can't live without anymore: mint loofah bars, bare bars, bubble bars, moon milk, body butter, soap savers. Jen, the owner, makes the best gift boxes/baskets with the prettiest packaging ever! If you value aesthetics AND the environment, make your way into the Ash House ASAP."

"Absolutely love this place! The whole store smells incredible, and the bar soaps are SO pretty! I have fully switched to only using soaps from here and my skin feels so soft and clean without being overly dry, which is something I usually struggle with in the winter. I also just got my first Swedish dish cloth and will 100% be getting more from here when the one I have gets worn out."

"When I moved to Ohio last year, I was desperately looking for a refillery. I was using an online one but was looking for something local for quick refills as I needed them. Lo and behold, I stumbled on the Ash House and it’s made a huge difference in our home! We use (and love!) their made in-house soaps and other products, but it’s also allowed us to phase out our box store cleaning products in favor of better quality products that we can easily refill. Plus, every time I go in there, I find something new and useful (or sometimes just a little treat for myself.) I cannot recommend shopping here enough. I feel so lucky to have them so close to me!"
