"went in to buy a brandy melville item on my birthday from their store as a gift to myself. I felt judged as soon as I walked in. The girls working there were not very nice and, unfortunately, this is the first and only time I can say I felt I was racially discriminated against while shopping. I felt that I was being followed the whole time and not once did they ask if I needed anything, the girls just kept sneaking glances at me and my friend. When I checked out, the girl at the register barely looked or spoke to me. This is a completely terrible experience compared to all the other stores I went in where the workers were kind (the bare minimum). If you are a black shopper I would recommend skipping this store in the summit mall unless you want to be followed and uncomfortable the whole time."
"I never leave reviews, but today I feel the need to. The girls who work here are super rude. They looked me up and down several times and treated me like I was less than them and stupid. I work in costumer service and have never treated anyone like that. I was so close telling her to forget about it at the register and just leaving, but at the end of the day employees like that don’t care so it wouldn’t have done anything."
