"This is one of my favorite stores. I went into the store today right before they closed because I had some issues with placing an order on line with my debit card. The employee that helped me was so kind even though they were minutes away from closing. She figured out away to work around my issues with my card and placed an online order for me by having me purchase a gift card then having me pay with that. I am so thankful for the employee and the help I received...... Never want to miss a good sale!!!"

"I did not have a good experience here. I originally purchased two pair of jeans a few weeks ago and today I went to EXCHANGE them for one size bigger. The cashier said she had to return them and I could then buy the two pair that I wanted. Well that's not what I wanted to do because when I bought them they were on sale but she was not willing to let me EXCHANGE them just return them. I have always liked Maurices up until today and I will probably not shop here any more. I work in retail and an even exchange is something that is very common practice."
"I had heard that Maurices had nice clothing at reasonable prices so I decided to go shopping. The dresses and shirts are nice and the quality seems good but I will not patronize this store. I am an older larger women and I was treated like I was invisible. Other younger, slimmer shoppers were greeted upon arrival and asked if they needed help. I tried to ask for help but was avoided and ignored. I did manage to make eye contact with one sales associate but she scurried off before I could ask any questions. I have choices where I buy my clothes and where I spend my money on gifts and Maurices will not be one of those choices. Perhaps refresher courses in customer service might help."
