About the Business

Rising Star Coffee Roasters is a unique cafe and store located at 1975 Lee Road in Cleveland Heights, Ohio. Last Fall, our founder Brandon traveled to Brazil to meet with Yuki, a renowned coffee producer with whom we have been working for years. Together, they selected the finest coffees for the new Yuki Project, which includes beans from Yuki's farm and other local farms.

At Rising Star, we are passionate about quality and sustainability. Our team carefully roasts each batch of coffee with love, ensuring that every cup is rich in flavor and aroma. You can now enjoy our handcrafted coffees from the comfort of your home by subscribing to our one or two pound delivery service. "I realize they serve dinner beginning at 5 and the coffee shop technically stops at that point. But they really need to re-examine how they makes patrons aware of this. OR, they just need to bite the bullet and let people stay, because their current protocol is really bad. I was meeting a friend for coffee at 4:30 yesterday and having a nice time, and then an employee comes over and says something to the effect of, "Excuse, we begin serving dinner at 5 so we will have to ask you to leave" and then she walks off. She didn't have an attitude or anything, but she wasn't particularly friendly, either. No matter how you cut it, it's just bad service to walk up to patrons and tell them to leave. Especially considering there was only two other people in the whole cafe. I could understand more if scores of people were waiting in line for dinner, but that wasn't the case. It just left a bad taste in my mouth."

"Love me some Rising Star. They really turned the old Lee diner into a really nice space that fits into our barrio nicely. Rising Star always slings out great coffee. I typically get whatever they are brewing but their espresso drinks are always perfect as well. The folks that work their are very chill and friendly. Great stop on my way to work"

"Lovely cafe located in an old Diner. Had a black coffee with oatmeal and a chocolate croissant and cost $11. The Diner was busy with uni students working on their lab tops. Friendly staff and very accommodating."

"This place is very mellow calm and serene. Come bring your books in study while sipping some of the best coffee around. This is coming from someone that owns a couple of French presses moka pots buys his own coffee beans and grinds them up every day. I'll definitely call myself experienced when it comes to coffee and this place definitely does not disappoint. I got an espresso for $2.50 and it was STRONG! Definitely come give this place a try. Promise you you'll come back again"
