"AMAZING food and EXCELLENT service! I had the pork tenderloin sandwich with sweet potato fries and the most amazing sauce....not sure what it was made of but it was HEAVENLY!!! Then the waitress/owner said that all of our meals came with an ice cream and she brought us all a sizeable dish of either chocolate, vanilla, or swirl ice cream and it was SOOOOO good! They also have like 85 (or close) different milkshake flavors. I cannot wait to go back sometime soon!"

"If you like family-owned restaurants in small, charming towns, this is a must-try location about an hour from Fort Wayne. Prices are very reasonable, especially since all meals come with soft serve ice cream included in the price. Make sure to get the French fries as a side. They are exceptional!"

"Pretty cool restaurant. I got cheeseburger a fries. Easily top 3 favorite sandwiches. I thought it was pretty good. The fries were probably the best. Wait wasn't too long, maybe 10-20 minutes. Not much else to say."

"This place is awesome! The French fries are the best I have ever had. Everything that can be made by hand is made by hand. The breaded tenderloin is amazing. My wife really enjoyed the grilled ham and cheese. Our meal even included homemade soft serve ice ream. The orders are placed at the counter and still written on paper. The service was the best! Very humble and happy couple that run the place. Feels like going to the grandparents for top notch home cooking. We will be back many, many more times! What a remarkable find. Only seats 18 with a million dollar view through windows everywhere. Just amazing."

"Got my order to go because it was 30 minutes before closing time. One of the best fish sandwiches I’ve ever had. The homemade tartar sauce was outstanding and the apple dumplings were great. I got the fish sandwich, fries and two apple dumplings for $13 and some change. A very reasonable price. I’m a truck driver so I usually end up spending the same amount for lower quality food. I would recommend The White Cottage to every one and I would make a special trip just to eat there."
