"ZERO STARS!!!!!!! I came in on Thursday 1/5/23, found a virtual reality game priced at '$2.99-Electronic', was told by the lady at the register that she could not sale me the item 'because it was incorrectly priced' and she would need to call her manager to get the correct price. So we called the manager and we were told that she would not know the price until Friday 1/6/23. I told them that I worked and would be able to come back on Saturday 1/7/23. I DRIVE ALL THE WAY HOME TO GET A CALL FROM THE CITI TRENDS MANAGER(SAME DAY 1/5/23) SAYING SHE GOT THE PRICE WHICH WAS CONFIRMED TO BE $2.99 AS ORIGINALLY LISTED. So today is Saturday 1/7/23 and the same lady finally gets to the register after moments of casually chatting in the back of the store. I tell her what I am there for and she remembers me and proceeds to look for the item behind the register. Mean while, she is telling me that a woman came in and returned hers saying it didn't work and that they had 2 of the items behind the counter. So the lady pulls one of the items up which just so happened to have my name it. TELL ME WHY THE ITEM HAS BEEN OPENED? IT WASNT OPENED WHEN I HAD TO PUT IT BEHIND THE COUNTER AWAITING A PRICE ON 1/5/23. So I ask the lady to see the other one behind the counter because that one should not be opened and she then says that the 2nd one was sold. SO NOT ONLY WAS I NOT ALLOWED TO PURCHACE AN ITEM THAT WAS CLEARLY PRICED AND FOR SALE, THEY SOLD THE ITEM AND JUST TRIED TO SALE ME THE RETURNED/OPENED ITEM THAT PROBABLY DID NOT WORK. THIS IS CRAZY AND IT SHOULD NEVER BE OK TO TREAT A REGULAR (IN THIS STORE WEEKLY) CUSTOMER. NO CUSTOMER SHOULD BE TREATED LIKE THIS. THEY HAVE WASTED MY GAS AND MY TIME! ALL FOR AN ITEM THAT WAS PRICED AT $2.99 AND ENDED UP BEING A CONFIRMED $2.99. ITS NOT RIGHT! AND THEY DONT CARE THAT THE WHOLE ORDEAL IS UPSETTING. ITS SAD WHEN BUSINESSES GET AWAY WITH NONSENSE!!!"
