"Also, I didn't realize it had... quite the local vibe... Anyway, I dig it the most."
"I was visiting from Western Indiana. I was cold and needed a sweater. City Gear was open so I stopped in. My first impression was shocked because I saw no one there. Not even employees. After I took a few steps in, I saw someone bent down behind the counter. Never even got up to confirm I was there. A second employee came out and was just out of it. Very uninterested in me being there. I tried to ask questions and he half answered anything. The only reason I am giving it an extra star is because they had a sweater (although expensive) that I could use for the cold."
"I stopped coming to this location a few months ago cause the staff were all rude with attitudes literally that last 4 times I came to grab shoes. But yesterday’s stop was the best customer service I received from ANY city gear even though the same rude young lady was rude again & her manager must’ve overheard our engagement cause he stepped right in when she was not providing expected customer service & went out the way to assist me which I appreciated. I wish I remembered the guys name cause he deserves a shot out!!! Would have given 5 stars if the girl was more warm & welcoming."
"Customer service sucks! Bad attitudes! Everytime I asked a question she got mad at me like I worked there and was supposed to know where everything was located even in the back! Lol!"
"Went in to buy shoes for my two kids. The woman working couldn’t be bothered to even go get shoes for them to try on unless we were “certain” they were the ones my kids wanted. They didn’t have a shoe size measurer for kids and the saleswoman wouldn’t help me figure out their sizes (they had crocs on so I didn’t know what size they’d need in regular shoes). I rarely write reviews but this was so unusually bad—it was almost like they didn’t even have someone working there. We ended up leaving because it seemed clear it literally wouldn’t be possible for my kids to try on & find shoes that fit them."
