"After reading the other bad reviews of this place, and the fact that they go back for years, with people talking about rude employees, getting ripped-off and disrespected, the place being what obviously looks like a scam, and the items they sell being filthy and damaged....why tf is this place still open? Why do you people keep going there??"

"Giving 3 stars because I can usually find good deals on clothes and items that are in good condition that we are in need of for my daughter. And now my son. however selling back to the store is an absolute nightmare. My son came out way bigger than expected and we bought a LOT of 0-3 month size clothes from this store that ended up not fitting him. The store wouldn’t even buy HALF of them back. I’ve had this issue on multiple occasions even with my daughter with clothes i have purchased from the store that were never worn or worn only one time that they would not buy back from us. A lot of name brand clothes even with original tags on them. most of the items I purchased form once upon a child still even have the tag on it!!!! Otherwise we always have a good experience in this store and employees have always been friendly."

"I washed and cleaned children clothes 30 pairs of winter outfits, champion outfits for boys 18 months -24 months. 5 pair pants for little girl jeans and cute matching shirts. You all mean to tell me you’re going to give me a total of $8!!!! Once upon a child alone charges $8-10 a piece for a pair of good jeans for kids. So you have to be joking! The worst!"

"They got me this time. Right after I cut the tag off I spotted this hole. I'm usually pretty good about spotting the stained and holy clothes that they put on the shelves for us to buy. It never fails every time I go in there there are stained clothes and clothes with holes in them. I specifically went there to buy my son some sweatpants because all of his have holes in the knees well guess what all of the sweatpants at Once Upon a Child have holes in the knees too. Sounds like they need to hire somebody else to do the buys because they're not doing very good job."

"DO NOT PRE PURCHASE ANYTHING FROM THIS STORE OR LEAVE YOUR ITEMS TO BE PICKED UP LATER!!!!! They give you an option to purchase and come back to pickup (for large items or online) I do NOT recommend. I purchased an almost $300 large item, asking to pickup the following day when I could transport it & the next day it was gone! A lady showed up with my EXACT receipt (meaning their internal employee printed a copy for someone) to match up and leave with my item! I gave it time to be worked out, giving the benefit of doubt, but got nothing from OUAC besides lack of promises, no employees reprimanded, and colerain police doing absolutely nothing but giving me a piece of paper with what happened - letting the lady off free when (from her license plate) they have a name, number & address which I was also told would be followed up on. A month later nothing happened, someone is walking around with an item worth $1600 for free and I am disappointed in the lack of care and concern expressed in this matter. If you decide to shop here, make sure you buy in store & leave right away with your purchase!"
