"Wow - more employees in there than customers and barely got a hello and got absolutely no assistance!! Had to ask if i could set down the items I wanted to try on so I could look a little more. Very disappointed!!"

"Great store, but hard to know when they're open because they change their hours frequently. Disappointed because I checked Google AND called the store to confirm a 7pm closing. At 6:10, an employee was letting a customer out the locked entrance. She said they changed to a 6pm close over a month ago. Then why weren't the hours on their store phone line & Google updated?! Customers shouldn't have to make a trip just to find out if the store is open."

"Visiting this store on 6/9/21, I had an encounter with a rude, dismissive sales associate. An item I had purchased less than 24 hours previously was now on sale, and when I requested an adjustment, the clerk was not at all helpful about the fact I had used a coupon on the original purchase, stating I would lose that discount. I went to the Rookwood Commons store for the adjustment because it was a BOGO 50% off sale, and they had my size, but I left with out making the additional purchase. Based on my encounter with that associate, I will NOT return to that Talbots location. This is not the kind of customer service that I have encountered in other locations."

"I had the best experience at this Talbots ! I am an avid and faithful Talbots shopper and still find that the customer service varies from store to store . But the 2 sales clerks were fabulous today! They were friendly and committed to helping me . Kudos to them and this store !"

"I came to this location instead of Kenwood Mall to return a few items from an order that I had placed online. As I entered the store, I saw a staff member there who looked me directly in my face and did not bother to say hello at all! As I looked around the store to see if I wanted to purchase any items, not one of the staff working there bothered to say hello or may I help you. I feel that when a customer or even a potential customer walks into your place of business that it is only customary to speak! If a customer thinks enough to walk into your store then I feel that it is only right to take a minute and say hello. Now, I should have added in the beginning that the store only had three customers in it with two staff members that I saw. What makes things even worse to me is that, the first person I saw walking into the store was a saleswoman who was black! The other sales clerk was white! As an African-American female, I was rather hesitant to shop there in the store because of things I had heard from other black people who have shopped there! So, here I go into the store anyway and not one person spoke to me! What makes this situation even more insulting is the fact that two days later I receive an email from their customer service department thanking me for shopping at Talbot's! How Insulting!"
