"Nice area Nice Outdoor Mall. However, we were harassed and targeted. I know that everyone likes to use "racism" as the blame for things that happen. But this time it truly was. Most employees in the store were kind and nice, however one employee accused my mom of stealing! MY MOM. My mom is a retiree and an active member in her community, that frequents JC Penny. I am an executive producer for a popular tv show on a popular network. My point is WE DON'T HAVE TO STEAL. The whole ordeal was so embarrassing. The clothes are decent the store is meh. For them to act like this is Nordstrom's or Sax is when shirts are literally 4.99 is crazy to me. They will be hearing more from me if we don't get his issue resolved."
"Cindy in the cologne and makeup section was wonderful . Very knowledgeable about scents and helped me find something new as my old cologne was no longer sold. However , Debbie that checked me out was extremely pushy about the penny's credit card as I had to say no four times. Then she asked me to take a survey on the bottom of the receipt and insisted she was the sole reason I saved on my watch. When I bought up the fact that the watch was on sale due to the large jewelery sale , she got snotty. I would give five stars due to Cindy's outstanding service, but the checkout process ruined it for me."
"Very low on staff. Had to wait for a staff member too help us at the jewlery counter far too long. However, the staff member that took care of us was very caring and took excellent care of us."
