"Bad experience! My lady friend speaks Spanish and her appointment was cancelled due to stupidity. Family home Dental sent her a text reminder IN ENGLISH one week in advance of her appointment. They wanted her to confirm the appointment, but she didn't understand the text because it was in ENGLISH. Less than 24 hours before her appointment she received a rude text message in SPANISH warning her that her appointment would be cancelled if she didn't confirm her appointment right away. That warning text was sent while she was at work, The problem is she can't receive texts while on her job, and she works a ten hour shift. She replied as soon as possible around 3 p.m. after she got off work to confirm her appointment, but later that night at 8 p.m. she received another rude text in SPANISH telling her that her appointment had been cancelled and she would have to reschedule. She drove to the office, anyway, at the scheduled time, and she was turned away because her appointment had been cancelled. This office is bilingual. I would suggest they send all appointment reminder texts in both English and Spanish to all patients in order to avoid screwups like this in the future. My lady friend never misses an appointment for anything. Her appointment should not have been cancelled. Had she not shown up, the office could have billed her for being a no show, but cancelling her appointment after she had already confirmed it within the allotted time was inexcusable. Now we have to look for another dentist. Too bad for all concerned parties."

"They changed my appointment due to my daughter having an emergency. The lady named Susan took care of my 3 year olds teeth and did such an amazing job! My daughter wasn’t scared she explained everything to my daughter in a way she’d understand, the dr was also amazing! I highly highly recommend this place! They only take free insurance for kids. But I’d pay to go here myself. Very clean environment as well."

"The entire staff at Family Dental Home does a great job of making you feel important and taken care of! I just had an unexpected root canal followed by a crown and the experience was amazing!. Went in with a toothache and ended up staying for a root canal. They talk to you every step of the way, letting you know what you should expect during the procedure and how you should be feeling (pain wise), taking care of any pain immediately. They are very thorough and treat you like family. My entire family is seen by Dr. Gomez and Dr. Ocampo. Thanks for everything you do to keep our mouths clean and healthy!"

They were both incredibly professional and they were always ready to provide integral support to our needs. Their staff was very nice and they made going to the dentist an enjoyable experience. We have since moved to another state and miss them dearly as our family dentists. Drs Gomez and Ocampo had no issue taking a call to answer the many doubts that strike you when you are a first time parent and you don’t know what’s going on. They were always there to give us advice and even now that we are not in Michigan we occasionally call them to ask for their opinion on dentistry related questions. We trust them as professionals and like their personal touch."
